Leave your laptop at home. The LiveScribe Pulse smart pen can be used to record all your writings and drawings. The only catch is that the notes have to be taken in special LiveScribe notebooks. The pen has a built in infra red camera that tracks everything you write and draw.The pen can be also used to record audio via the built-in microphone. Recorded audio could be attached to the note that you have written. Once you are done taking notes you can transfer the notes to a computer via a USB cradle that is also used to charge the pen. Once the notes are transferred to your computer you can organize the notes using the LiveScribe desktop software. You can also perform searches with your notes and replay the audio that was recorded during note taking. The notes can be shared by email and on social networking sites such as FaceBook.
