This is what many people ask when they see the HP DreamScreen. The HP DreamScreen is an entertainment device that can do a lot of things other than just displaying photos. The following is a list of things supported by the HP DreamScreen: Play photos and videos, play music, use your PC as a media server and stream music on the DreamScreen, access online services such as FaceBook and the Internet, listen to Pandora & HP SmartRadio, use it as an Alarm Clock or Calendar or even as a Weather Station!
The DreamScreen tablet comes in two models. The DreamScreen 100 has a 10.2-inch LCD screen while the DreamScreen 130 has a larger 13.3-inch LCD display. The DreamScreen is connected to your local home PC and the Internet via WiFi (802.11 b or g) connections. Both models come with 2GB of built-in memory to store photos and videos. You can expand your storage by using USB drives or flash memory cards. The DreamScreen comes with built-in speakers and headphone jacks.
The HP DreamScreen 100 is priced at US $249 while the HP DreamScreen 130 is priced at US $299.
It is not known when the HP DreamScreen will be available in Canada.
